New Fire Apparatus

Description: This project will provide a back-up apparatus for the City’s three front-line engines. This will ensure an engine is available to fill in when an engine is down for maintenance, repairs, etc. Historically, a reserve unit is in service, on average, as much as a first line unit.

Other Notes: This project will provide a new apparatus to coincide with the opening of Station 93.


Current Status As of 0/0/0: Fayetteville accepted delivery of this apparatus on November 14, 2017. The 2016 Pierce Arrow XT has been placed into service with equipment from a reserve pumper until new equipment can be ordered and received. The total budget for this apparatus, including equipment, is $650,000.
