The Georgia Power Company is cutting trees along Hwy. 85 in Fayetteville today. This work is preventative maintenance for their power lines and is not being performed on behalf of any particular business location.

The City of Fayetteville was honored today to help host a visit from American Legion National Commander Brett Reistad, who was in town to celebrate the organization's 100th anniversary at Post 105's log cabin just south of our Courthouse Square.
