Fayetteville Master Path Plan

Residents invited to contribute to Fayetteville Master Path Plan

Let us know where new sidewalks and paths are needed! Complete our survey!

The Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Department since October has been inviting the public to provide input on the City’s Master Path Plan, and the online survey is still available. (Click here to participate now.)

“Fayette County is developing a county-wide path study, so this is good timing for the City of Fayetteville to do the same thing,” said City Planner LaShawn Gardiner. “The City already has several miles of sidewalks and paths, so we want to see how best to connect those in addition to constructing additional paths, that will connect with whatever the county may look to develop.

“Within the City, we’re looking in particular to connect our Historic Downtown District with the Fayette Pavilion development to the north and with the west-side developments, including Togwatee Village, Piedmont Fayette Hospital and Pinewood Forest,” Gardiner added.

A map of the City is also available at City Hall, where residents may place dots at locations where they think sidewalks and paths are needed.
