More than 30 events have been inked into Main Street Fayetteville’s 2019 Calendar of Events, and now the official brochure is available for download from the City’s website.
This year’s calendar kicks off April 13 with “Living History Day” at the Holliday Dorsey Fife Museum, it concludes with the Dec. 7 Christmas parade and tree lighting, and it includes concerts, festivals and more along the way.
“We’re excited to introduce Friday Night LIVE to this year’s lineup,” said Main Street Program Manager Joyce Waits. “We’re planning four of these themed parties on the Old Courthouse Lawn, with the first scheduled for April 26. We will announce more details in the next couple of weeks.”
The popular Lunch on the Lawn events are back this year, as is Taste of Fayette, Church Street Park Festival, Suds on the Square, The Great Pumpkin Festival and the annual Cemetery Walk. Concerts and movie nights are scattered throughout the year.
