July 31 Detour Open House to explain Ebenezer Church Road bridge project

The Georgia Department of Transportation will hold an open house event on Tuesday, July 31, to address two upcoming bridge reconstruction projects, one in unincorporated Fayette County and one in Coweta County.

From GDOT:

On Tuesday, July 31, 2018, 5-7 p.m., at Peachtree City Library 201 Willowbend Rd, Peachtree City, GA 30269, the Georgia Department of Transportation will hold a Detour Open House concerning the reconstruction of the following bridges:

• The bridge on County Road (CR) 287/Ebenezer Church Road at Whitewater Creek

• The bridge on State Route (SR) 54 at Bear Creek 3.5 miles southeast of Moreland

The purpose of this Detour Open House is to provide the public with an opportunity to view the proposed detour, ask questions, and to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the project and the proposed detour.

The Open House will be informal, and the public is invited to attend anytime during these hours. There will be no formal presentation. A court reporter will be available to allow the public an opportunity to make verbal comments about the project.
