Victorian Christmas at the Holliday Dorsey Fife Museum

On Saturday, December 7, the Holliday Dorsey Fife Museum will host a Victorian Christmas open house at from noon to 4 p.m.

The Museum will be decorated in Victorian style with a traditional Christmas tree in the parlor and other decorations throughout the house.  Musicians dressed in period costume will play 19^th Century tunes and Christmas music throughout the afternoon. Light refreshments will be served.

Admission to the museum is free for the day.  After the museum closes, families can walk just outside to see the annual Fayetteville Christmas Parade, which begins at 5 p.m. The fun continues across the street from the Museum on the grounds of the Lane Brown Gazebo and Heritage Park Fountain, where Christmas on Main Street comes alive with Santa Claus, live Christmas caroling, seasonal treats and more.
