City of Fayetteville seeks board volunteers

The City of Fayetteville is currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers for the following board positions:

Art and Architectural Advisory Committee – Eligibility: shall be a resident in the City of Fayetteville, or business owner in the City of Fayetteville. Architect to be appointed, two other members must have one or more of the following qualifications: be a professional in the field of art, landscape architect or land use planner, historian. Applicants will be chosen for their demonstrated background, education and expertise in the visual arts, public art, architecture or related professions, art history or art critic. Meetings are only held “as needed”, but usually once or twice monthly in the afternoons. Term is for three (3) years. Applicant must complete bio information.

Ethics Board – Eligibility: The Ethics Board consists of three appointed members according to the regulations in the City of Fayetteville Ethics Ordinance. Meetings are only held “as needed”.  All members shall be residents of the City of Fayetteville. Term is for two (2) years. Applicant must complete bio information.

Planning & Zoning Commission – Eligibility: shall be a resident in the City of Fayetteville and shall not hold any other public office. Applicants shall have an interest in analyzing development projects within the city. Meetings are held the last Tuesday evening each month. Term is for two (2) years. Applicant must complete bio information.
