The City of Fayetteville has a contract with Waste Industries (formerly CLM) for the collection of solid waste and recyclable materials from single-family houses and duplex residential units inside the City limits. Effective September 1, 2014 the rates will increase to $10.45 for regular customers and $8.95 for seniors over 65 years of age.
Collection takes place Monday through Friday. Different streets get picked up on different days. Waste Industries Customer Service at 770-474-9273 can let you know which streets get picked up on which days.
Click the Waste Industries Information attachment below for detailed information about garbage and recyclables pick up. During holiday weeks the schedule for all customers on or following the holiday will move to the next day. If the holiday falls in the middle or end of the week only customers on and following that day will be affected.

Yard Waste including limbs, leaves and grass are not picked up by the City or our service provider. Yard Waste can be disposed of at the Fayette County Transfer Station, 221 First Manassas Mile Road, Fayetteville, open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, except New Years Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas day.
