The City of Fayetteville has extended the boil-water advisory for the Landing Drive area residents who lost water pressure on Wednesday, March 16. The Water Department has received the bacteriological results from yesterday’s hydrant break, and one sample is calling for a resample. An additional water sample is being collected for testing. The boil-water advisory is extended for an additional 24 hours, until at least 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022. We apologize for any inconvenience.
As a precautionary measure, affected residents are asked to boil water before consuming it. This advisory is in effect until at least 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022. A notice will be published when the boil-water advisory has been lifted.
