NOTICE TO CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE RESIDENTS & CUSTOMERS - Updated: March 16, 2021

CITY HALL AND MUNICIPAL COURT OPENING HOURS - Fayetteville City Hall is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the following exceptions: The Occupational Tax division stops taking customers at 4:30 p.m.; and the Water Department stops taking service agreements at 4:30 p.m. Municipal Court hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on Fridays. NOTICE TO CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE RESIDENTS AND CUSTOMERS REGARDING CORONAVIRUS COVID-19

In the interest of public health and safety, and due to an abundance of caution in the face of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, City of Fayetteville declared a State of Emergency. Georgia Governor Brian Kemp on April 8 extended his Shelter-in-Place Executive Order and related executive orders to be effective through Thursday, April 30, citing ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. https://fayettevillega.wpengine.com/news/governor-kemp-extends-shelter-in-place-executive-order-through-april-30/. Fayetteville City Hall and all City of Fayetteville buildings are temporarily closed to the public.

The City of Fayetteville will also post updates on Facebook and Nextdoor, as well as through the E-Mail Updates system.

The City of Fayetteville continues to monitor the current coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and to maintain communications with the Fayette County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and the United States Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC).
